ABOUT FRAN WARD LAW
Fran has been practicing law for over 30 years. She concentrates in representing juveniles, college students, fraternities/sororities, and athletes facing disciplinary issues at colleges and universities across Ohio. She has successfully defended numerous Title IX cases involving students accused of sexual misconduct on campus, as well as students facing discipline for allegedly violating codes of conduct relating to alcohol, drugs, theft, assault, and dishonest conduct. She also represents fraternities/sororities accused of hazing and other code of conduct violations.
She began her career as an attorney in 1990 at Crabbe, Brown & James LLP (formerly Crabbe, Brown, Jones, Potts & Schmidt) in the civil defense practice. She also worked for The Koffel Law Firm in the criminal defense area and defended students and student organizations at universities and colleges throughout Ohio.
Fran is passionate about supporting and advising students, juveniles and young adults facing overwhelming issues and consequences. Clients and their families need more than just an experienced attorney well versed in the law. They need someone that fights hard for justice and fairness, never gives up, someone who listens truly cares, shows compassion and is available beyond the constraints of the workday. Fran treats her clients like one of her own children or family members. These are just some of the attributes that set Fran apart from others. She is also well respected amongst her peers, judges, prosecutors and campus administrators.
